Help and support
Version: October 19, 2026
Orb operates and supports this application. For sign-in, authorization, privacy, or general product assistance, email support@orbemr.app or use the form at the end of this page.
Signing in
Staff sign in at orbemr.app/login with their email and password. If you forget your password, choose “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page and enter your Staff email. The reset link works once and expires after 15 minutes; your new password needs 12 to 128 characters, and resetting it signs out your other sessions.
New Staff join through an invitation that an Owner or Admin sends from Settings → Team members. The invitation link works once and expires on the date shown in the email; ask your Admin for a new one if it has expired.
Clients use the Client Portal link their practice sends them. Enter the email address the practice has on file and Orb emails a 6-digit code that expires after 10 minutes; there is no Client password. If your email is not recognized, ask your practice to check the address on file or to send a new Client Portal link.
Applying for an Organization
To start using Orb, apply to create an organization. After you confirm your email with a 6-digit code, Orb reviews the application. No account or Organization exists until it is approved. The approval email contains a single-use link, valid for 7 days, where you name your Organization and first Practice and set your password. If you already have a Staff account, sign in instead of applying again.
Calendar and Google Calendar
Appointments live in Calendar in the app sidebar. Connecting Google Calendar is optional: a Provider connects one Google account in Settings → Calendars, then chooses one Calendar they can edit. Orb shows that Calendar’s events only to the Provider and adds Orb Appointments to it as private events titled “Orb appointment.”
For connection issues, open Calendar Settings to test, reconnect, or disconnect. To use another account or Calendar, disconnect first and start a new connection. Existing mirrored events remain in the former Calendar and may be removed there manually.
Administrator restrictions
A Google Workspace administrator may restrict third-party application access. Ask the administrator to review and, when appropriate, trust the Orb OAuth client ID shown by the deployed consent flow. This public page intentionally contains no client ID or credential value.
Billing and payments
Client payments go to your Practice’s own Stripe account, which an eligible Provider sets up in Settings → Client payments. Standard Stripe fees apply, and Orb charges no platform fee during the initial rollout. Invoices are created and sent from Payments; deposits or full payment at booking are set per Service in its Payment Policy.
Clients with a question about a charge, refund, or invoice should contact their practice, which manages its own billing.
Privacy and data requests
The Privacy Notice, Terms of Service, and retention and deletion notice explain how Orb handles data. Each Organization manages the Client records it enters, so Clients should send requests about their records to their practice first. To request deletion of Google Calendar connection data or ask a privacy question, contact Orb support and identify the account concerned.
Contact support
Tell us your Organization, what you were trying to do, and what you saw. Never send passwords, authorization codes, payment card numbers, or Client clinical information.
