Retention and deletion
Version: September 14, 2026
Orb retains only the Google Calendar data needed to operate the selected Calendar Connection and diagnose its safe lifecycle.
Data kept while connected
Orb keeps the encrypted authorization grant, connected account email, selected Calendar identity and display snapshot, lifecycle and redacted health state, and numeric Busy Intervals for their bounded freshness and recovery window. Provider event titles are fetched live and are not stored.
Disconnect and deletion
Disconnect always deletes the local Calendar connection and makes saved Busy Intervals unusable immediately. Orb attempts Google revocation first, but a failed or already-completed revocation does not block local deletion. Expired authorization state and stale Busy Intervals are removed through bounded maintenance.
Private mirrored events created before Disconnect remain in Google Calendar because Orb no longer has authority to manage them. The Provider may delete those remaining mirrors directly in Google Calendar.
